Real Madrid line-up bid for goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois’ situation at Stamford Bridge ahead of a possible summer window offer for the safe hand, according to reports.
Real want Belgian safe hand
As per the Evening Standard, Real are keeping tabs on Belgium international goalkeeper as his negotiations over a new deal at Stamford Bridge are delayed until further notice.
The report suggests this is due to the Blues’ current hectic match schedule, with Chelsea involved in a couple of big matches over the course of March or so.
The Blues face crucial matches in the UEFA Champions League and Emirates FA Cup that could eventually decide their campaign, and it is suggested that both Thibaut Courtois and the side have agreed now is not the right time to negotiate terms over a fresh deal.
Concerns for Chelsea fans
Still, this will undoubtedly be a worry for Chelsea fans as the shot-stopper continues to attract numerous interest from Los Blancos, who could do with a fresh world class player in goal this summer window.
Reports recently suggest Courtois was due to negotiate a new Blues deal this month, so this delay would only spring up more rumour.
Recently, Mundo Deportivo suggested the La Liga side were also looking at David de Gea of Manchester United, but that they see Courtois as a realistic option.
