Again! Man United Coach Jose Mourinho Sends New Warning To Chelsea’s Antonio Conte

Mourinho’s warning to Antonio Conte

Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho has warned former Juventus manager Antonio Conte that winning the Premier League title has become a poisoned chalice.

The Stamford Bridge club are presently the heavy favourites to win the Premier League title this current term following Conte’s appointment at the west London club last summer.

The Italian manager watched his side take a step closer towards winning the league crown on Saturday as they secured a 3-1 victory over Swansea City at Stamford Bridge.

Jose Mourinho was prompted into his comments after the Epl defending champions Leicester City opted to sack manager Claudio Ranieri just nine months after he led the Foxes to the Premier League title.

Mourinho himself was asked to leave Stamford Bridge in December 2015 just months after guiding Chelsea to a League Cup and Premier League double.

And the current United coach is of the opinion that winning the Premier League has now become a poisoned chalice in an ever-changing football landscape.

“I think it is clear from what has happened to the managers who have won the title that football has changed.

“We cannot be naive. We can’t believe this is the same football that we had 20 years ago or even 10 years ago.

“Everything has changed and I’m not afraid to say it.

“The things that surround the industry we are in, are all changing.” Mourinho said, as quoted by Metro.

The west London club finished in the 10th position and without a trophy last term following Mourinho’s sacking.
