Ruud Gullit talked about Morata and his situation with the Blues on BBC Match of the Day.
The ex-Dutch international played for Chelsea between 1995 and 1996 before taking up a player-manager role at the club between 1996 and 1998.
According to him, the tactics employed by Maurizio Sarri does not suit the Spanish international striker before pointing out that Morata has struggled badly with Hazard’s style of play.
Alvaro Morata has recovered from his Chelsea struggles in recent outings.
He took his tally to five goals in his last six games in all competitions following his brace against Crystal Palace in their London Derby duel on Sunday.
His goals proved to be hugely significant after Chelsea defeated the Eagles 3-1 to leapfrog title rivals Liverpool into the second spot on the league table.
The former Juventus and Real Madrid player scored twice either side of the halftime interval and either side of Andros Townsend’s goal for the visitors to give the home side a 2-1 lead.
