Understandably, Antonio Conte is said to be furious after Chelsea lost out on the signing of Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United.

And in an attempt to appease the Italian boss, the Chelsea management are said to be working frantically hard just to ensure they wrap up deals for the trio of Tiemoue Bakayoko, Antonio Rudiger, and Alex Sandro very soon.

Conte has endured a frustrating summer in the transfer market so far and has failed to get a number of top targets, with Romelu one of his major priorities this year.

But Lukaku is now set to make a £75million move to Old Trafford after a shock development this week, leaving the premier league champions to look elsewhere for replacements for Spanish striker Diego Costa.

The Spaniard was shown the exit door by Conte at the end of last season and is being heavily linked with a move back to his former Spanish club Atletico Madrid.

And the west London club may eventually get some big deals done very soon with the Daily Telegraph reporting that they hope to improve their manager’s mood by finalising deals for Tiemoue Bakayoko and Antonio Rudiger.

It was also added that they remain in discussions over signing Juventus star player Alex Sandro and they are quite confident of getting the transfer done.
