Emil Forsberg Asked About Man United Move, Read What He Said

Red Bull Leipzig star player Emil Forsberg has been in the news recently after emerging as a transfer target for premier league heavyweights Manchester United.

And recently, the midfielder has also admitted he is aware of interest from Jose Mourinho’s side.

The Portuguese boss watched him play in the World Cup playoff in Stockholm last Friday, where Sweden beat Italy 1-0.

Despite splashing lots of cash to bring in the likes of Romelu Lukaku during the past summer transfer window, Mourinho is understood to remain keen on signing an attacking midfielder to his team at Old Trafford, and Forsberg has been identified as a good guy for the job.

The RB Leipzig star player is said to have impressed the Man United boss, and reports circulating in the media suggests the is now a target for the Old Trafford club.

And speaking recently about the situation, Forsberg told Bild (via Metro) that he is aware of the links, as he read everything in the papers. But he added that he won’t allow that get him distracted from RB Leipzig.

German star player Mesut Ozil is also linked with the red devils, and there were speculations that Jose could make a move for him when January comes to avoid losing him when summer comes.

The former Real Madrid player will be out of contract at the end of this term, and is ready to reunite with Jose at Old Trafford.
