Maurizio Sarri’s led Chelsea have also joined the long list of clubs following Porto’s Brazilian defender Eder Militao.
After only just joining Porto last summer from São Paulo, the 22-year-old was initially being considered by Manchester City earlier in the year.
The player who can play in multiple positions in defense has continued to impress and has been followed by Manchester United, Everton and Juventus this season but Premier League rivals Chelsea have also taken note as they consider options ahead of January.
According to reports, the Brazilian international shares the same agents as David Luiz and Willian. Militiao can play right-back and defensive midfield and has already been capped by Brazil.
His current team Porto are expected to make a substantial profit on the £7.2million they paid for Militao with his former club Sao Paulo also due 10percent of any sell on fee.
He featured in 12 games this season and scored in their 3-1 Champions League victory over Schalke last week.
The Blues interest in the player is sparked by the possible exit of Chelsea team captain Gary Cahill in the January transfer window, the ex England international is wanted by AC Milan, Aston Villa and WestHam..
