The report also have it that Barca boss Ernesto Valverde is keen on keeping Roberto beyond the summer window and will not allow any of his players leave this summer following the departure of Neymar on a world record fee.

Chelsea are also said to be considering a move for Sergi Roberto as Antonio Conte eyes signing more players to his ‘small’ squad before the end of the transfer window.
