£120million rated Chelsea forward tempted by Manchester United bid

Published

on

Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard has dealt a major blow to La Liga side Real Madrid with claims that he’s tempted by an offer to join Premier League rivals Manchester United.

The Belgium international star is one of the World’s best-attacking players at the moment, and recently, the Sun linked him with a possible £120million transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Eden Hazard had also been strongly linked as a target for league rivals Manchester United earlier this campaign, and there’s now a fresh update on the saga.

As reported by Don Balon, the Champions League holders are worried about missing out on Hazard, 27, as he’s thought to have a rather tempting bid submitted from Old Trafford.

This development would be a massive blow to the Blues, who could cope with the prospect of offloading Hazard if he were to head to a club abroad.

However, losing the Belgian to a major English Premier League rival is so unthinkable for Chelsea, who have done pretty well to keep their best players in the Abramovich era.

Still, Manchester United did complete the signing of Serbian international Nemanja Matic from Chelsea last summer window, with the midfield maestro going on to become a vital figure Jose Mourinho’s team’s improvement this season.

Mesut Ozil

Though the transfer market is currently closed, clubs are being linked with some players ahead of the upcoming winter transfer window.

Here are some players making headlines in the transfer media.

Mesut Ozil and Anthony Martial could be engaged in a swap deal

Manchester United are reportedly set to offer want-away striker Anthony Martial plus cash to Arsenal so as to receive Mesut Ozil in return.

According to Daily Mirror, Mourinho is willing to reunite with the retired Germany international at Old Trafford and he’s ready to do everything to see that happen in January.

Arsenal target Brazilian Lucas Paquette despite United’s interest

Le10 Sports are reporting that United and Arsenal are set to compete for Brazilian playmaker Lucas Paquette, who has two caps for the Selecao. The youngster is valued at £44m by Flamengo but it’s yet to be seen if both clubs are ready to spend big on his signature.

West Ham target Chelsea striker

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata could be joining the Hammers in January as Manuel Pellegrini is hoping to lure the Spaniard to the Bet365 Stadium.

The former Manchester City manager hasn’t hit the ground running with the team after five round of matches this season and he’s looking to bolster his team’s attacking prowess in the second half of the season.

Ramsey’s uncertain future

Arsenal are yet to convince the Welshman to commit his future to the Emirates stadium, despite all their efforts to see that happen before the end of this month.

Though talks are still ongoing but the Express claims both parties are not having a smooth talk as many would have wanted.

Alvaro Morata

Chelsea underperforming Striker and Spain International, Alvaro Morata has gotten another opportunity to perform for the Blues tonight.

Owing to the fact that, he will be the one leading the Blues squad tonight at the forefront as they take on PAOK in Greece in the Uefa Europa League.

Coach, Sarri Maurizio decided to give him another opportunity despite the fact that he has not performed at all for the Blues in 4 of five games in the English Premier League this season.

Morata so far this season has just a single goal to his name, which defines his poor performance.

It is believed that if the Spain international refuses to perform tonight at Greece, he might lose his playing chances to France international, Olivier Giroud.

And should this happen, Alvaro Morata will have to look for another football club where he is likely to get more playing chances.

This is because he has the desire to make the Spanish national team but if he doesn’t play regularly at the club level, there is no way he will be called up to join the national team.

A report has disclosed that Alvaro Morata agents are already making arrangements that will see the Spain star move to West Ham on loan or to Italy in the January transfer window.
