Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard admits he is far from being 100 percent fit despite making his long-awaited return to first-team football action.
Belgian Eden Hazard missed the Blues opening three Premier League matches of the campaign after undergoing an operation on an ankle injury in July.
He’s appeared in Chelsea’s last seven matches across all competitions, starting their latest Premier League match in the 1-0 loss to Manchester City.
But the Belgium international forward, who has also played twice during this international break, has warned that his recuperation from injury is not yet over.
The 26-year-old winger admits he could miss more matches for Antonio Conte’s team.
“I [Eden Hazard] missed football [matches] for three months, it’s not easy to return after a major injury,” Eden Hazard said on his recuperation.
“But I [Eden Hazard] worked during the summer – I [Eden Hazard] just want to play football.
“I [Eden Hazard] will miss some matches, I [Eden Hazard] will play badly for some matches. I [Eden Hazard] just want to play football and try to bring the best of me [Eden hazard].”
Eden Hazard was crucial in helping the West London club to the English Premier League title last term, netting 17 goals and making seven assists across all competitions.
