Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax Amsterdam will again start their Champions League quarterfinal tie against Juventus as the underdogs just like what was obtainable in the last round against holders Real Madrid.

Ajax were able to recover from a 2-1 home leg deficit against the Spanish giants to book their place in the last eight of the competition.

The Dutch giants thrashed Real Madrid 4-1 in their second leg clash at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu to complete a 5-3 aggregate victory over their more illustrious opponents.

Ajax shocked the footballing world against Real Madrid in the last round but they face a formidable team in Italian champions Juventus for the right to qualify for the last four of the Champions League.

Juventus were boosted by the transfer of Portuguese national team skipper Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid in the summer and he showed his worth for the Old Lady in the last round when he scored a treble in a 3-0 win over Atletico Madrid in the second leg to help the Italian champions overturn a 2-0 deficit from their Champions League last 16 first leg meeting.

Ronaldo is in line to face Ajax after recovering from a muscular injury and his Juventus side has winning odds of 2.30 according to Surebet247.

A possible win for the hosts is at the odds of 3.30 just like the odds of a stalemate between the two teams (3.30).
