Deal Completed
Nicolas Tie has confirmed during the week that he has agreed to a three-year professional deal with Premier League side, Chelsea.
The 17-year-old has had a number of top teams chasing his service from the tender age of 13.
The Blues, however, won the transfer race for the goalkeeper last year when they brought him from, Poitiers.
That didn’t mean the shot-stopper was their player yet though, with the safe hand needing to pen a professional deal this summer window.
Now, the player has done that and the Blues have sealed the players long-term future with a deal that runs until the summer of 2021.
The West London side will be hoping that this will now see the teenager become into a first-team safe hand by the conclusion of his contract before offering him a new contract.
Undoubtedly, he was excited when he announced the signing on social media during the week.

Goalkeeping problem in the first team
While the Blues have tied Tie to a new contract, there is another goalkeeping issue but in the first team squad.
The future of Belgium international goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois could be in major doubt with rumour of a transfer to La Liga giants Real Madrid.
