Dominic Solanke has not featured for his club in the new campaign thereby prompting transfer reports linking him with a Premier League move in the next transfer window in January.
The Nigerian-born English striker has struggled to even make the Liverpool matchday squad in the new season.
The 21-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to fellow Premier League side Newcastle United.
The Magpies are struggling in the lower positions of the Premier League and it’s mainly due to a lack of goals.
Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez is keen to rectify the problem in the January transfer window and has drawn up a list of transfer targets which Solanke headlines.
The Magpies were able to score just seven goals in their first eleven games in the Premier League before on-loan striker Salomon Rondon scored his first goals in the league to give Newcastle United a 2-1 win over Bournemouth at home in what was their 12th league match of the season.
Since joining Liverpool from title rivals Chelsea last summer after leading the England U-20 to the World Cup title, Dominic Solanke has mostly made substitute appearances for the Reds.
In total, he has scored just once in 27 was Liverpool games in all competitions.
