Deal confirmed : United get go-ahead for this star defender
English Premier League outfit Man United have been given the go-ahead by Danny Murphy to move in for the signature of North London outfit Tottenham central defender Toby Alderweireld in the coming summer transfer window.
Toby Alderweireld has been on the wish list of the Red Devils right from the days of former manager Jose Mourinho in the last summer transfer window bit there has not been a headway.
Tottenham are now in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League and Toby Alderweireld has been a major part of the team but he could seek a move away for another experience should the club fail to secure a Champions League win at the end of the season.
Man United have, therefore, not made their interest in the star player secret as they hope to solidify their defense ahead of the coming season.
The Red Devils have got one of the worse records in the English Premier League this season as they have not recorded any clean sheet in their last 13 games which is not a good sign.
However, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted that there will be a massive overhaul of his team for new players to be accommodated with his major focus likely to be the defense.
