According to reports, Willian wants to remain at Premier League club Chelsea but the Man United transfer target’s future hinges on manager Antonio Conte’s future at the West London club.
Willian want to remain at Chelsea
The Sun is claiming that the Brazilian international wants to stick with the club despite the prospect of a possible reunion with former boss Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.
The same report says that Willian’s future remains in major doubt with Antonio Conte’s long-term future at Stamford bridge still far from certain.
The 29-year-old attacker caused controversy last weekend after he looked to edit Antonio Conte out of his Instagram picture depicting the Chelsea team with the Emirates FA Cup trophy at Wembley Stadium.
The wide man didn’t feature in the Emirates FA Cup final until the last minutes of regulation time in the Blues’ 1-0 victory against rivals Manchester United on Saturday evening.
Difficulty campaign under Conte
As per the same report, the South American attacker is disillusioned with life under Italian tactician Antonio Conte and the former Italy manager has fazed out his National team compatriot David Luiz at the club.
He was voted the Blues’ player of the campaign having scored 14 goals and eight assists in 54 matches across all competitions in the 2017/18 campaign.
