Deal Close! Chelsea and United must cough out £200m for unsettled superstar

According to reports, Chelsea and Manchester United will have to pay Champions League winners Real Madrid £200m for the transfer of UEFA Champions League final hero Gareth Bale this summer transfer window.

Bale wants to leave

As reported by Daily Star, the Wales international attacker’s desire to depart has only prompted the La Liga giants to slap this massive price tag on him despite speculated interest from the English Premier League.

The Daily Express have strongly linked both Manchester United and FA Cup winners Chelsea with Gareth Bale, though they suggested the player would only cost £80million, so it remains to be seen if some sort of agreement in the middle will be struck.

Winger make departure clear

This follows the exciting winger making it crystal clear he would be considering his football future this summer transfer window after admitting his frustration at not playing from the start in the UEFA Champions League final victory over Liverpool.

The 28-year-old came off the substitute bench to find the net twice – including a brilliant overhead kick – and play a massive part in delivering Real Madrid their third final win in a row.

Gareth Bale shone at Spurs earlier in his playing career, though £200million seems too much to pay for a 28-year-old and injury history.

Highly disappointed in Perez. If he can buy a bench warmer for £200m.? Then you are going to keep him again on the bench for another season. You would miss on neymar too. Because you can’t keep ronaldo and bale together with neymar due to their wage demands. Bale for one is injury prone. Just because he scored two champions league goals? Hahahahahha.
