North London outfit Arsenal now stand the chance to land the signature of French Ligue 1 outfit Saint-Etienne defender William Saliba but there is disagreement in the terms of the deal.

The French Ligue 1 outfit are now willing to give William Saliba to the North London outfit but they still want to keep him for a year’s loan which Arsenal is not willing to accept because of their need for the player for next season’s challenge.

William Saliba is 18, but he has been able to impress in the French Ligue 1 which makes him attract the interests from top European clubs while Saint-Etienne are willing to listen to offers within the range of £25million.

Arsenal are of the opinion that they will not be able to secure another defender to stand in because of the limited budget which might stop them from securing the service of another defender.

This means that the North London outfit might lose out on the French youth international and the deal could be hijacked by Man City and Man United, knowing that the two clubs will be willing to meet with the one-year loan request because of their ability to buy a player that will stand in.
