England international midfielder Jack Wilshere has this season proven both his form and fitness, but his future remains in doubts given his contract situation at the North London club.
Top quality midfielder
Wilshere, 26, has played 38 matches this campaign across all competitions for Arsenal, netting twice and making six assists as the midfielder has put his injury problems behind him this term.
However, with his existing deal set to run out this summer transfer window, his future at the Emirates remain in major doubt as he continues to move closer to becoming a free agent player.
Improved contract on the table
As per The Mirror though, the Gunners are keen to see him remain at the club, as they have tabled an increased contract offer to about £100,000-weekly in an attempt to agree to keep both camps happy.
Considering the players quality, interest from Wolves, Everton, Juventus and AC Milan are expected according to reports and so the Gunners will perhaps be closely monitoring his developments going into the summer transfer window.
The midfielder would be a top quality addition for any of those clubs mentioned considering his technical abilities, but the Gunners are seemingly working well to convince the player to remain at the club.
