Premier League giants Liverpool will make a move for Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski according to widespread reports coming out of the Italian media.
Liverpool are long-term admirers of the Polish international star and they are considering a move for him when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
The Reds were interested in him before the Polish midfielder joined Napoli from fellow Italian Serie A side Udinese in the summer of 2016.
Napoli were said to have paid £12.6m for him and he has gone on to become an important player for the Italians since his transfer.
Piotr Zelinski has thrived for Napoli this season despite the change of manager at the start of the season.
Former Champions League winner Carlo Ancelotti replaced Maurizio Sarri at Napoli last summer after the latter left the club for Premier League side Chelsea just before the start of the current season.
Zielinski has scored six goals and also provided two assists for Napoli in all competitions this season.
He has played 43 games for Napoli this season though the former Udinese player has not been able to lead his club to glory this season.
Napoli are out of contention for all the three competitions namely the Italian Serie A, Coppa Italia, and the Europa League.
They dropped down from the Champions League to the Europa League after they were knocked out of the group stage.
