Newly crowned European champions Liverpool have reportedly entered the race to sign highly-rated Besiktas midfielder Dorukhan Tokoz.

This is according to the latest reports coming out of the Turkish media.

Liverpool are the latest club to be linked with the hugely talented player.

According to the specific report from Fotomac, Liverpool have joined Italian Serie A club Udinese in the race to sign the Turkish midfielder.

It was revealed that Udinese had a €7m bid turned down for the player and that Besiktas are holding out for at least €10m before they can sanction the sale of the young midfielder.

Udinese made an offer of €6m plus €1m in add-ons.

The aforementioned report also stated that Liverpool are yet to make a bid for Tokoz.

Liverpool have been linked with several midfielders in this transfer window and Besiktas star Dorukhan Tokoz is the latest name linked with the Champions League holders.

The Reds are not expected to make major signings during this summer’s transfer window but the Merseysiders could still strengthen their midfield.

Apart from Dorukhan Tokoz, Liverpool have been linked with Bruno Fernandes who plays his club football for Portuguese Super League club Sporting Lisbon.

Bruno Fernandes scored 32 goals and also provided 18 assists in all competitions for Sporting Lisbon last season.
