Real Madrid star player Marco Asensio has been heavily linked with a move away from the club in recent times after emerging as a target for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

According to new reports, the club have submitted a buoyant offer of €180m to get the player’s signature ahead of the 2018/19 season.

It is understood the German boss is keen on signing Asensio, and according to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo, his side have sent a formal offer for the player’s signature.
Asensio’s agent Horacio Gaggioli confirmed that his client’s current side have already rejected some offers for the player, although Mundo Deportivo made it clear that the Champions League winners will be forced to ‘study’ Liverpool’s bid.
Jurgen Klopp is keen on signing a replacement for Philippe Coutinho who left Merseyside for Barcelona in January. They were linked with Lyon’s Nabil Fekir in recent days, but the French club made the decision to keep the Frenchman with them this summer.
