The Reds will host Serbian club, Red Star Belgrade tonight in the Uefa Champions League.

However, Liverpool coach, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Brazil international, Fabinho will get his first start tonight.

This is actually because Liverpool midfielders, Naby Keita and Jordan Henderson will not be available due to injuries.

Fabinho joined Liverpool in the summer transfer window from the French club, AS Monaco at the sum of £45 million.

But since his arrival, he has not started for the Reds in a single match with Klopp stating that the midfielder was still adapting to Liverpool style of play.

He has only made four appearances from the bench for Liverpool.

Well, Fabinho celebrated his 25th birthday yesterday at Anfield and this might turn out to be the best birthday gift he would get.

Jurgen Klopp in a statement said quoted by Goal.com said, ‘Yes, it’s clear he could play and also It’s his birthday by the way so it would be a nice present.’

Klopp affirmed that Fabinho will get his first chance in the Reds squad tonight and he believes he is ready to play.

Liverpool FC will be hoping to defeat the Red Star Belgrade tonight and pick up all three points.
