Wenger Made Move To Agree On £25M Star Signing

Fourth-placed Arsenal now have the opportunity to move above Man City who lost to Liverpool, though still nine points behind title leaders Chelsea.

Truthfully, Wenger boys are presently in an unstable form, and it will be so surprising if they get to catch up with Chelsea this season.

With the winter transfer window already here, the gunners are linked with yet another defensive midfielder in the person of Sevilla star Steven N’Zonzi.

Daily Express reported that Arsenal boss Wenger is set to make inquiries to sign the £25m-rated 28-year-old French international.

Realistically, Wenger already has a handful of players who can actually play in the holding midfield position.Steven N’Zonzi has been in a good form for Sevilla who are four points behind table leaders Real Madrid and just a point behind second-placed Barcelona.

After an impressive performances in the group stage, Sevilla have qualified for the Knock-out stages of the Champions League and are playing EPL champions Leicester City in the Round of 16.

With this in mind, it is imagined that they won’t want to lose a vital player like N’Zonzi. He is one player who keeps providing a solid cover in front of their defense. This season so far in n 22 games, he already scored 3 times and provided 1 assist.

Nevertheless, we think Wenger should forget about signing another Defensive Midfielder and instead concentrate on signing a top playmaker.
