The Serie A side are concerned the Blues will look to land Elseid Hysaj if Sarri takes charge at Stamford Bridge, according to Italian media reports.
Rai Sport, as cited by talkSPORT, is claiming that Napoli are concerned about losing their full-back this window.
The same report says that Napoli expects their former boss to move to land the Algeria international if he does take charge of the club from current Blues manager Antonio Conte.
Chelsea eye former Napoli boss
As per the same article, the 24-year-old Chelsea target would want to work with his former manager at Stamford Bridge considering his immense success under Sarri at the club.
Hysaj has provided one assist in 35 matches in the Serie A last season to become a vital member of the Napoli squad.
Only former Liverpool goalie Pepe Reina and Jose Callejon had more Italian Serie A minutes than the African in the league last term to highlight how important he is to Sarri.
The Blues finished in the fifth position on the English Premier League log last season to miss out on a UEFA Champions League spot for the second period in three years.
