Anthony-Martial

Sky Sports pundit Graeme Souness has made a special claim about Manchester United striker Anthony Martial after his superb display in his side’s 2-1 win over Everton in the Premier League game.

The Frenchman joined Paul Pogba to have their names on the score sheet and also to hand the Old Trafford side a 3-points, the first convincing win in all competitions after the international break.

Souness described Martial as a baby who has got the ability to succeed to any level of his career if given the right environment to do so.

The Sky Sports pundit stated that the former Monaco lad will make a good pairing with former Juventus star if manager Jose Mourinho sees it in that direction.

Noting that Martial will be 23 in December, Souness says the Frenchman is still a baby as he looks not mature enough to be criticized, adding that he gets easily discouraged when he hears negative comments about him.

Meanwhile, Martial was on the verge of Manchester United exit following the little playing time handed to him by the Portuguese manager in the beginning of the season

Mourinho had not considered Martial as an important member of his squad and that was why he made the decision to keep him on the bench but that has changed with the Frenchman seeming to get every chance for himself

His brace against Chelsea and the goal against Everton add up to make it his fourth goal in three games.
