Chelsea transfer for Adrien Rabiot intensifies, but will he get any playing chance at Stamford Bridge with the already crowded midfield?
Chelsea FC have joined the list alongside other European top clubs in the race to sign Paris Saint Germain midfielder, Adrien Rabiot.
Going by records, the 23-year-old midfield maestro is contracted till the end of this season but PSG are likely to table a contract extension.
The issue is not about a contract extension as Adrien Rabiot is keen on leaving the French football club over limited playing chances.
Rabiot has made 200 appearances for PSG throughout his entire 5 seasons at the club and it is quite impressive for a player of his age.
However, he is displeased with the inconsistent ways the appearances are made which include some starts, some substitutes and all rotations.
This is why he has put himself on the market ahead of the January transfer window and luckily for him, top clubs are already biding for him.
However, if he wants to leave PSG for Chelsea because of limited playing chances then it will be a bad idea for him as Chelsea is currently home to more than six midfielders, the likes of Matteo Kovacic, Jorginho, Kante, Loftus Cheek, Danny Drinkwater, Fabregas and Ross Barkley and only the first three are regulars for the Blues.
