According to SportBild, Premier League champions Chelsea could have to pay up to €50million for Leon Bailey next summer.
Bailey to cost a fortune
The German outlet is cited on SportWitness, who say that the 21-year-old forward, who only joined Bayern Leverkusen two seasons ago, would cost that much to lure him away from the German side this coming summer.
Young talents needed
The Blues need youthful attacking firepower up front, and the wonderkid would seem to perfectly fit the bill.
The youngster can be deployed on either flank of attack, and while he is short of experience he seems the real deal when it comes to speed and technical attackers.
Failed approach
It is also suggested that the West London giants were prepared to pay €30million in the recently shut winter transfer window, but the German Bundesliga side were not willing to offload and were hoping that the former Genk star can increase his value even more with yet more good performances for them.
The signing of the youngster will certainly not be a straightforward one, and there would possibly be a number of interests from other English Premier League sides.
The Blues are hoping to return to winning ways when they take on Watford in the Premier League on Monday night.
