According to reports from Italy, Manchester United are keen to getting one of Chelsea’s target.

Italian news outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport confirmed that Old Trafford club has launched an adequate €40 million bid for AS Roma star player Radja Nainggolan.

Although the talented midfielder has been a long term target for Chelsea Italian manager Antonio Conte, but Manchester United Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho has now made him one of his top priorities ahead of the summer transfer window.

In recent weeks, there have been some issues between the 29-year-old and his current employers as he is said to be asking for a pay rise. The Italian club are however not ready to grant him an increase, and that has led to a possible summer exit.

However, the Belgian star has been outstanding this term for Roma, and has heaped attention to himself – including getting the attention of Chelsea Italian boss Antonio Conte.

If the midfielder should leave Roma at the end of this season, he is more likely to move to a club that can offer him Champions League football. Chelsea have the upper hand to land the Midfielder after qualifying for the Champions League next season.
