Premier League giants Chelsea have found out about the transfer fee required to prise one of their targets away from his club.
Bayern Munich defender Mats Hummels has emerged as the top transfer target for the Blues ahead of the January transfer window and the West Londoners have been told the financial figure needed to sign him.
According to popular English media platform The Sun, Chelsea have been told that it would take £30m to sign the German international centre back.
It was revealed that new Blues boss Maurizio Sarri has already told club executive Marina Garinovskaia that Mats Hummels is his top transfer target for the upcoming transfer window scheduled to begin as from January 1.
Mats Hummels has not played as he would have loved this season after becoming the third choice Bayern Munich centre-back under new manager Niko Kovac.
The German World Cup winner has played second fiddle to the centre back partnership of Jerome Boateng and Nicklas Sule.
The 30-year-old joined the Bavarian giants in the summer of 2016 from rivals Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer.
Apart from Chelsea, Mats Hummels is attracting the interests of other Premier League clubs like Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
