Carabao Cup: Liverpool predicted lineup against Chelsea

Liverpool will be playing their toughest game of the season as they face Chelsea in the Carabao League on Wednesday at Anfield.

The Reds have maintained a 100 per cent win so far this season and they hope to continue with it especially as they face Chelsea FC in their eighth match of the season.

Chelsea like Liverpool have also kept a 100 per cent win in their last 6 matches until they played West Ham on Sunday, who held them down to a goalless game.

It is believed that Jurgen Klopp will not want to start his top players against Chelsea in the Carabao league as his goal is the English Premier League trophy.

Chelsea are currently at the third spot on the EPL table while Liverpool top the table.

Below is the Reds likely first eleven.

Goal Post: Jurgen Klopp is likely to rest Alisson Becker while giving Simon Mignolet his first start for the Reds.

Defense: There are likely to also be some changes here, Klopp may start Moreno And Clyne at the left back and right back respectively – Joel Motip and Joe Gomez will play at the centre back.

Midfield: Fabinho is expected to get his first joined by Jones and Naby Keita.

Forward: The Reds attacking trio are expected to change as Klopp may drop the duo of Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino for Shaqiri and Daniel Sturridge while retaining Sadio Mane.
