A Colombia outlet Marca Colombia reports that James Rodriguez is keen to return back to Los Blancos as he would not fancy a move to the English Premier League.
This remains a big blow to the Gunners team as their chances of securing a high profiled player has been smashed. They will be left with no option than to turn attention elsewhere.
However, it is understood that the North London outfit are already getting set to storm the summer transfer window for more additions after failing to do some businesses in the last January transfer window.
