Manchester United have received a boost in their pursuit of Galatasaray midfielder Bruma after a £30million offer by Red Bull Leipzig was rejected.
The 23-year-old has been tipped to leave the Turkish giants this summer, with reports that several clubs in Europe are vying for his signature.
German outfit Red Bull Leipzig is believed to have made an offer for Bruma which was turned down by Gala, reports in Turkish outlet Sporx claims that Bundesliga side wants to return with an offer of around £12million with a five-year deal worth a total of £25.9 million [€30m].
Another source close to the midfielder told Turkish-Football that Leipzig have not tabled an offer for Bruma, claiming it was just a fabrication.
The Portuguese star is expected to leave Galatasaray with just one year remaining on his contract and has not signed a new deal, although there are reports that the Turkish club is keen on negotiating a four-year deal with the 23-year-old but reports have it that the contract extension talks have stalled because the club wanted to include a £21 million release clause in the new deal.
Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in Bruma as Mourinho looks to bring reinforcements to his current squad.
