Porto star player Ruben Neves has emerged as a target for a number of Premier League clubs this summer.

And in a new development, there are reports coming from Portugal that the premier league sides of Chelsea and Liverpool have shown interest to sign the midfielder in the summer transfer window.

The talented player has made 90 appearances for the Portuguese heavyweights since breaking into their first-team and he became the youngest captain in Champions League history in Porto’s 2-0 win against Maccabi Tel Aviv back in 2015.

According to A Bola, the Portugal starlet is expected to move on this summer and he is being heavily linked with a move to the Premier League ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

Chelsea and Liverpool are understood to have made contact over a move for Ruben in the coming months as the managers of both clubs are known to be admirers of the player.

However, Neves won’t be coming cheaply as his Portuguese club are said to be demanding £30million for the highly-rated youngster.

Last year, both Arsenal and Manchester United expressed a strong interest in the player, but the player chose to stay put in Portugal. We, however, look on to his decision this time around.

He has been with Porto since he was just eight and we expect him to take the next step in his career.
