Ten Clubs Ready January Swoop For Chelsea Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Chelsea are considering a loan move for Ruben Loftus-Cheek with about ten teams ready to swoop, according to reports.

The 20-year-old has failed to nail a spot under Antonio Conte despite being tipped for great things from the academy system, making just one appearance since the start of the season.

Antonio Conte has earlier hinted at a possibility of a loan deal for the youngster while praising his abilities.

“I’m sure that Ruben has great potential,” Conte said.

“I think it’s important to show this, to improve a lot on different aspects. Now he’s in our squad. This season, he had a few injuries.

“But now he’s in good form and I count on him.

“There will be a moment when I speak with my club and take the best decision, but I count on him because I think he has good potential.”

The impressive form of N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic as hampered the progress of Loftus-Cheek at  Stamford Bridge, and a loan move could help spark his potential.

Newscastle are said to be front runners in the deal to get the 20-year-old midfielder regular playing time,as they also look to build on their stunning form in the Championships.
