Barcelona to storm Old Trafford for major Madrid upset

Emerging reports claim that Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona are set to hijack the deal for Man United midfielder Paul Pogba who has been linked to their El Classico rivals Real Madrid.

It is no longer news that the World Cup winner is keen to leave the Old Trafford at the end of the season, having made a come-get-me plea to Real Madrid by stating that he was to play under manager Zinedine Zidane.

The Spanish capital team are also reported to have launched an “Operation Pogba” with manager Zinedine Zidane asking the club to move in for him.

However, Barcelona who are also interested in the signature of the former Juventus star are reportedly planning to hijack the deal by stepping forward with a £130 million offer with the hope that it would be considered by Man United.

Barcelona will see Paul Pogba as that replacement for Ivan Rakitic who is linked with a move away from the club in the coming summer transfer window.

It is therefore yet to be seen if Paul Pogba will dump his interest to play under Zinedine Zidane or not as Real Madrid will also make efforts to step forward with a better offer.

Meanwhile, United are not ready to part ways with Paul Pogba but they might be forced to do that, rather than lose him on loan.
