Arsenal on the verge to sanction deal as midfielder submit transfer request

According to widespread media reports, la Liga star Steven N’Zonzi has informed his Spanish club Sevilla he desires to leave the football club amid rumour he could join Premier League giants Arsenal.

The 29-year-old attacking midfielder is presently away on international assignment with France at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia after another brilliant campaign with Sevilla in Spanish La Liga last term.

According to Spanish media reports, the diminutive midfielder has informed the La Liga outfit that he would like to quit the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán this summer transfer window.

Other verified reports have claimed that newly appointed Arsenal head coach Unai Emery wants a reunion with his ex-player and the latest update from Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo will be very encouraging.

Argentine also an option
Argentina international Ever Banega, who plays with the Frenchman at the Spanish side Sevilla, could also be a transfer option for the former Sevilla and PSG manager with the South American also believed to be unhappy at the La Liga side.

The sacking of former Spain international midfielder Oscar Arias as manager earlier in the year is allegedly the major reason Argentine Banega wants to leave the club, while former Premier League star Steven N’Zonzi has in the past asked to leave the club but his wish wasn’t approved.
