Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has his say on Arsenal’s hopes of winning the Premier League title this season and he believes that the Gunners are capable of catching table leader Chelsea in the race for the Premier League title this season.
Arsene Wenger’s men moved up to second place in the Premier League table on Sunday after their dramatic 2-1 win over Burnley at The Emirates.
However the blues soon responded with a 2-0 win over Hull City at Stamford Bridge as Conte’s side moved eight points clear at the top of the table.
Chelsea are the firm favourites to win the Premier League title this season but their credentials will soon be tested when they take on the duo of Liverpool and Arsenal in their next two games.
Thierry Henry however feels that the Gunners now head into their clash with Chelsea on 4 February potentially able to claw their way back into the title race.
When asked if Arsenal can catch Chelsea in the race for the title this season, the Frenchman replied Sky Sports on Sunday: “Can they? It’s going to be a difficult one.
“From what I’ve seen, it’s going to be difficult [but] they have put themselves in the position where they can battle at the Bridge and see what happens next.” he said.
Last season, Arsenal finished second in the Premier League table without a trophy.
