Liverpool Disappointed By Mateo Kovacic’s Summer Valuation
It appears Croatia star player Mateo Kovacic won’t be coming over to Liverpool this summer.
It was made known that the Anfield outfit have been pissed off by his club (Real Madrid) and won’t be making a bid for him any longer after a £75 million fee was slapped on his head by the La Liga heavyweights.
The World Cup is finally over, and football lovers are expecting more summer businesses to transpire between various sides.
Some sides are set to capitalize on the performances of their players (and their countries) during the World Cup – and one of such sides is Real Madrid.
The Champions League winners now value Croatia international Mateo Kovacic at £75M as a result of his country’s superb displays in Russia, but Liverpool are not ready to splash such cash on his signature.
Mateo couldn’t participate actively for Croatia in the tournament, but Real Madrid are hoping his country’s ability to reach the final will be enough to bring about a tug of war between various other top European clubs for his signature.
Kovacic has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield for years now, and the speculations were reignited after the initial collapse of the move to secure Nabil Fekir’s signature from Lyon.
