Antonio Conte Treatment Of This Chelsea Player Is Humiliating And Labelled ‘Shameful’

Michy Batshuayi isn’t surely living the dream at Stamford Bridge these days and isn’t enjoying himself at the club. Even In the game against Liverpool on Tuesday, he was simply thrown on by Antonio Conte for the last few seconds of the game.

The 23-year-old player joined Chelsea in the summer for around €40m and has totalled only 90 minutes of Premier League football this season. His longest appearance this season was a 19 minute cameo in Chelsea’s 3-0 loss to Arsenal back in September.

If we should consider that the other 14 appearances make up the remaining 71 minutes, then we can say that Antonio Conte doesn’t fully trust the Belgian attacker – someone who in 78 appearances for Marseille during his two seasons there scored 33 goals.

Just yesterday, former Belgium international Marc Degryse simply told Play Sports that the young forward should ask to leave.

On the same show, Belgian football analyst Jan Mulder also made interesting statements.

“What the manager [Conte] is doing is shameful. To bring someone on for a second for nothing. Someone should go complain to the Association Footballers’ Union that what the employer is doing is humiliation. Really, I don’t accept that, and it is not the first time either.”

Batshuayi however so far hasn’t had anything bad to say about his time at Chelsea.
