Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has sent a crystal clear message to the Chelsea board over the need to reinforce in January after rivals Manchester City’s brilliant run.
The Italian has praised Manchester City boss for the way they’ve supported Pep Guardiola ’s team in the last transfer market, with the Citizen’s looking like awaiting Premier League Champions.
The Blues won the Premier League title last term but are now eleven points adrift leaders Manchester City after weekends results, and Antonio Conte has dropped an important hint that his team needs to be strengthened if they are to compete favourably in the second stanza of the League season.
Conte is cited in the Metro as saying Manchester City are a very strong team this season.
The West London club had a hectic summer but didn’t seem to bring in many successful buys based on their performances so far this season.
Despite being occasionally linked with bigger players, the likes of French midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, England international Danny Drinkwater, and Italian defender Davide Zappacosta joined the Stamford Bridge outfit, and none have looked really impressive so far this term.
