The agent of Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic, Marko Naletilic, has stated that the Croatian international is in love with Italian Serie A side AC Milan with a move to Vicenzo Montella’s side a big possibility.
Pasalic, who is on a season-long loan to 7-time UEFA Champions League (UCL) champions, has not played for Chelsea at all since he was signed from Croatian side Hadjuk Split in the summer of 2014. The 21-year old was farmed out on a season-long loan to French side AS Monaco last season on the back of another season-long loan to Spanish side Elche.
When asked about a potential transfer for his client, Naletilic said: “I’ll tell you that he’s in love with Milan, so that should let you know what Pasalic wants.”
“Clearly he’s aware of what Milan means in the history of world football.
“Will he stay permanently? Right now we won’t talk about it, we’ll see what happens, right now it’s important for him to play well and help the team.” he concluded.
Chelsea chief Michael Emenalo was reportedly in attendance in Milan on Sunday afternoon as Pasalic ompressed and scored a goal to help AC Milan to a 2-1 win over lowly side Crotone in what was an Italian Serie A match.
