4-2-3-1 Formation: Man United Will Trash Newcastle If Jose Field This Starting XI

Jose Mourinho lost his last premier league game against his former side Chelsea at Stamford Bridge before the international break.

The Portuguese boss will hope his men will bounce back to winning ways when they host Newcastle United at Old Trafford on Saturday for their next premier league game.

When Rafa Benitez was still managing Liverpool, he has faced Mourinho in some interesting fixtures when the Portuguese was still at Chelsea. And currently, with different clubs, we can’t wait to see who will emerge victorious between the two tacticians.

But as far as Manchester United’s team news is concerned, Frenchman Paul Pogba is not yet fully fit, and we can expect Nemanja Matic to take care of the centre of the park alongside Ander Herrera.

Mourinho has also ruled out Phil Jones from the game, and in such a case, Eric Bailly and Chris Smalling are expected to guide the heart of United’s defense, while Ashely Young and Antonio Valencia should be in the wing-back posts.

Upfront, despite his recent challenges at Old Trafford, we still believe Mourinho will include Mkhitaryan in the starting XI – considering his impressive performances for Armenia during the international break.

The Armenian playmaker is likely to partner with the likes of Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford behind Romelu Lukaku.

With De Gea in-between the sticks, Man United are likely to earn all three points against Newcastle if Jose field this 4-2-3-1 XI.

GK – De Gea
DL – Young
DC – Smalling
DC – Bailly
DR – Valencia
DM – Matic
MC – Herrera
AL – Rashford
AC – Mkhitaryan
AR – Lingard
FC – Lukaku
