Former Liverpool winger Luis Garcia has praised the impact of Sadio Mane at the club following his phenomenal goalscoring form in front of goal.

Luis Garcia was a key member of the Liverpool squad that won the 2005 Champions League final at the expense of Italian Serie A giants AC Milan.

The Reds had to come from behind after AC Milan had taken a 3-0 lead at halftime.

Liverpool scored three goals in six second-half minutes before prevailing on penalties.

Luis Garcia knows all about goalscoring and he has been impressed with the form of Mane.

The Spaniard told the official website of the club that Sadio Mane has improved his scoring record by being more focused.

He revealed that Mane has a better conversion rate this season before adding that the Senegalese international star scores more than he misses which is in stark contrast with his last two seasons at the club.

Sadio Mane has been in superb form this season with 20 goals in all competitions for Liverpool this season including 17 goals in the Premier League.

The former Southampton and Red Bull Salzburg star has enjoyed a rich vein of form in the last two months.

He has scored 11 goals in his last 11 games in all competitions.
