3-4-3 Formation: Morata Out Of Chelsea’s Strongest Possible XI vs Southampton

Chelsea won Huddersfield 3-1 on Tuesday night after losing their previous premier league game.

The premier league champions will host Southampton at Stamford Bridge this weekend for their next top flight game, and manager Antonio Conte and his men will hope to earn all three points from the encounter.

Southampton lost to Leicester City on Wednesday night at the St Mary’s Stadium and haven’t been much impressive this season so far.

And as far as Chelsea’s team news is concerned, David Luiz is still out with injury, and Alvaro Morata remains a doubt for the weekend game.

Antonio Conte could make a few changes in the starting XI that won Huddersfield during the week, and could start Zappacosta in the right wing-back position ahead of Nigerian international Victor Moses.

Cesc Fabregas should partner N’Golo Kante to take care of the midfield for the Stamford Bridge club, while the likes of Eden Hazard, Willian and Pedro Rodriguez should play up front.

With goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois in-between the sticks as usual, here is Chelsea’s strongest possible 3-4-3 starting XI against the Saints at Stamford Bridge.

GK – Courtois
DC – Cahill
DC – Christensen
DC – Azpilicueta
ML – Alonso
MC – Cesc
MC – Kante
MR – Zappacosta
AC – Willian
AC – Pedro
FC – Hazard
