Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to sign a new deal at Manchester United after showing signs of recovering from his injury.

The 35-year-old limped out of United’s Europa League tie against Anderlecht much to the dismay of Old Trafford faithful who were gutted to see of their best players get sidelined on a long-term after rupturing a cruciate ligament knee.

Ibrahimovic was initially ruled out for 9 months but the striker has shown early signs of recovery, dismissing earlier reports that his career at the Old Trafford has ended, with speculations that Mourinho will not be activating his additional one year clause to his contract.

Reports in the Mirror claim that Manchester United are ready to offer Ibrahimovic a new one-year deal after seeing signs of the striker’s recovery from the nasty injury.

Manchester United have just received a massive blow to their transfer plans after Atletico Madrid transfer ban was upheld, ending their transfer pursuit of Antoine Griezmann who also went to the social media to reveal his love for Atleti.

There are reports that Jose Mourinho is keen on signing a centre-forward to bolster his current squad to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic while Wayne Rooney is also expected to quit the Old Trafford this summer.
