Yussef Poulsen of RB Leipzig has sent a ‘come and get me’ plea to Liverpool after disclosing he still desire to play for the Anfield giants.
Player target future Anfield move
The Denmark international forward will see his colleague at Leipzig Naby Keita complete a move to the Merseyside club this summer window and the exciting forward Poulsen admits he dreams of following the footstep of the Guinean to Merseyside.
Talking to German publication Bild, the forward disclosed that he would attempt it sometime in another football league. But, if that is 2021 season or 2025 season – he claims to have no idea. He confirmed that the English League would interest him and that it would fit properly with his game.
He confirmed supporting Liverpool as a kid. He further stated that his best friend was a Liverpool fan.
Utility forward
The former Lyngby star is a utility player who can be deployed in the central striker role or as a wide man and has netted 37 goals in 153 matches during his spell in the German Bundesliga.
The 23-year-old was recently linked with transfers to German sides Borussia Monchengladbach and Wolfsburg.
Liverpool have also been heavily linked with Leipzig players Dayot Upamecano and Timo Werner, despite agreeing to a summer move with the club for Keita.
