Kepa Arrizabalaga discloses why he joined Sarri led Chelsea squad – Official Website.
The summer transfer window of the English Premier League is over and everyone seems to be calm as they get prepared for the new 2018/19 season which commenced yesterday.
Although Sarri Maurizio joined the Blues as their new coach barely four weeks ago, he has been able to make a good use of the transfer window and bring in four key players.
The players include Jorginho, Rob Green, Matteo Kovacic and the world most expensive goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga.
According to a new report, 23-year-old Kepa Arrizabalaga has disclosed why he made a move to Chelsea from Spanish club, Atletico Bilbao.
The Spain international disclosed he had been in contact with his fellow countryman, Pepe Reina, who convinced him to make a move to Chelsea.
Pepe Reina and Sarri Maurizio had both worked together back at Seria A club, Napoli.
Chelsea had signed Kepa Arrizabalaga in a mouth-watering deal of £71.6 million making him the most expensive goalkeeper in the world beating Liverpool’s Alisson Becker record.
However, many fans seem sceptical about the signing as they believe the 23-year-old goalkeeper is inexperienced and may not be able to perform well since he is going to be Chelsea’s number one goalkeeper.
Today will give us the first view of Klep performance as Chelsea face Huddersfield in the EPL.
