Man United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has made a damning claim on the club’s transfer activates this summer transfer window.

There are already hints that the Red Devils will have a busy transfer schedule this season and Ed Woodward has declared that he will be in charge of it.

The Red Devils were expected to have a restructuring of the team to ensure that transfer issues are handled by the technical director and recruitment for the position was expected to be made but that is yet to happen.

Ed Woodward had in the last summer transfer window clashed with former manager Jose Mourinho over transfer issues which was the reason for the need to bring in a technical director but that is yet to happen.

The executive vice-chairman is yet to decide on a preferred candidate for the role.

However, enough funds have been made available to manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to engage in this summer transfer window and that is expected to help bring in new players that will return the club to its glory days.

The first signing has been dusted with Swansea’s Daniel James and more are expected to happen before the end of the window.
