Brazil international forward Willian wants to remain at Chelsea amid speculations of interest from Premier League rivals Manchester United.

The Chelsea wide man remains close to Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, who brought him in for the West London club from Anzhi Makhachkala back in 2013.

The Portuguese tactician recently praised Willian saying: “Do you want to discuss about Willian? Top [player], cream of the crop, he’s [Willian] amazing.”

And the player himself said recently that the Red Devils made an approach for him in the summer.

But now Willian, 29, currently in splendid form, is keen to remain at Stamford Bridge for many more years to come.

Brazil international forward wants to stay

He told Planeta SporTV  via Goal.com that he is under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2020and that his goal is to remain at the club.

He said unless the club does not want him anymore – then he’d have to seek another club.
He said he plans to continue at the club until the end of his contract, to renew his deal, and to continue for many more years.

Jose Mourinho has stated he doesn’t want to bring in more attacking players to his team in the summer transfer window, though the right-wing forward, where Willian often plays for the Blues, remains something of a puzzle for the Manchester United manager, who has used Anthony Martial, Juan Mata, and Jesse Lingard, among others players, there.
