Man United to complete £88m move for attack-minded defender

Manchester United are looking to further strengthen their defence by bringing in a new Centre-half this summer transfer window and Barcelona defender Yerry Mina is a target.

Bench-warmer turn World Cup star

The Colombian international defender has been a bench warmer since joining the Catalan side in the January transfer window.

However, Mina was one of the top performer’s at the FIFA World Cup and is now a transfer target. The defender was solid in defence and also found the net on 3 occasions in 3 matches in the competition but his national team were eventually knocked out by the Three Lions of England in the last 16.

If widespread claims across the media are to be believed, then the Red Devils have moved to land the central defender this summer.

Man United wants Barcelona defender

According to Spanish outlet Sport, Manchester United want to bring in the 23-year-old Central defender.

The publication has claimed that Merseyside clubs Everton and Liverpool have been keen on signing the Ex-Independiente centre-half and now the Reds Devils have made some moves to secure his services.

Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho brought in Bailly two seasons back and signed Lindelof last season, still, the former Chelsea manager is not satisfied with his current defensive options, hence the need for further reinforcement.
