Jamie Redknapp has advised Manchester United youngster Marcus Rashford to depart Old Trafford following the arrival of Alexis Sanchez at the club last week.
Jamie believes Sanchez’s arrival will severely limit Marcus’ chances of getting regular game time at Manchester United.
Although Sanchez is a versatile player, the Chilean plays often at the left side of attack – which is the same position Marcus has played at Old Trafford this term.
The England international has been struggling to score goals this season, but still, has played all of Man United’s top-flight games so far this term. Rashford has made 13 starts already, while the remaining 11 came from the bench.
But it is obvious Alexis’ arrival will change lots of things at Old Trafford, and the former Arsenal player will definitely create more competition for places in Jose Mourinho’s starting XI.
And speaking recently about the situation at Manchester United, Jamie said he is sorry for Marcus Rashford – who will ‘go down the pecking order’.
“[Rashford] might have to go in the end.” Jamie said.
Recently, there were some other speculations from America that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is also ready to leave Old Trafford to join LA Galaxy due to Sanchez’s arrival.
The Chilean international made his debut for his new side last Friday at Yeovil Town and received the man of the match honour after full-time.
